Local Services
Manage restaurant menus and service catalogs across locations.
Local Services keeps a business’s approved menus, services, prices, descriptions, and location information organized in one place.
It can support restaurants, healthcare providers, home-service companies, professional services, and other businesses with location-specific offerings.
What You Can Manage
Depending on the business, Local Services can include:
- Services or menu items
- Categories and sections
- Descriptions
- Prices or price ranges
- Images
- Options or modifiers
- Availability
- Location-specific offers
- Business hours and contact details
Restaurant Menus
Restaurants can organize menus into pages, sections, and items. Common updates include:
- Adding or removing an item
- Changing a price or description
- Marking an item unavailable
- Reordering sections
- Updating an image
- Publishing a revised menu
Published menus can be used on a website, a hosted menu page, or a QR code.
Service Businesses
Service businesses can create a structured service catalog with:
- Service names
- Customer-friendly descriptions
- Prices or consultation details
- Service areas
- Location availability
- Images and proof points
Approved information can then support website pages, business listings, search visibility, and future sync destinations.
Edit And Publish
- Open Local Services.
- Choose the correct location.
- Select the menu, service page, section, or item.
- Make the update.
- Review the customer-facing preview.
- Select Publish.
- Confirm the published page or website reflects the change.
Saving a draft does not always publish it. Confirm the publish status before treating the update as live.
Images
Use clear, current images that the business owns or is permitted to use.
When media-library support is available, upload or select the image there so the same approved asset can be reused across pages and services.
Themes
Theme settings affect the published menu or service page, not the editor.
Available controls may include:
- Brand colors
- Typography
- Card or list layout
- Section navigation
- Image behavior
- Mobile presentation
Review both desktop and mobile before publishing a major theme change.
Business Listings And Sync
The workspace may show destinations such as Google, Apple Maps, Bing, Facebook, or Instagram.
The status shown in the workspace is the source of truth. A destination may be connected, awaiting access, planned, or available only as a reference target. Do not assume every displayed destination is actively synchronized.
Before Publishing
- Confirm the correct business and location.
- Verify spelling, prices, hours, and contact information.
- Confirm images are approved.
- Check any required legal or compliance language.
- Preview the customer-facing page.
- Publish and verify the live result.
